Hey all!

Welcome to my website and blog! I'm so happy to introduce myself and give you a sense of who I am. First and foremost as you know already, my name is Stephanie. To keep this fun and simple, I decided to set this post as questions! So lets get this started!

  1. Where am I from? I'm originally from a small town in New Jersey that is directly across midtown Manhattan. I am a true Jersey girl at heart that has now relocated to California where I am becoming more and more acclimated to the west coast lifestyle.

  2. Where in California do I live? I live in Sacramento with my fiancé and our dog!

  3. Whens the wedding? The wedding is in November 2020 and its here in Norcal at a vineyard! I hope to dedicate a post more in depth on this in the future!

  4. Whats my photography style? I can't say I have a specific style. I originally started taking photos in Manhattan after I got out of work. My early photos would mostly be street photography and candid shots. I like to be able to challenge myself and teach myself new techniques. I love Henri Cartier Bresson, known as the father of photojournalism. If you see his photos, you actually feel as if you are there in that moment. That is what I try to encompass in all my photos. I do shoot everything in natural light so I can say I do not do studio photography. My strength is all in natural light and editing.

  5. How did I get into photography? I always loved taking photos as a child and remember my grandmother buying me my first camera one Christmas. I really didn't discover my passion for it until I was 25 and began to travel. I really loved nature and capturing life's little moments. That's how I also became interested in street photography and photo journalism. I love taking candid photos of people in their every day life.

  6. Do I have any other hobbies besides photography? Yes! I LOVE to read and play the piano. I'm a closet nerd, so anything Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, Game of Thrones.....come talk to me about it! If you got a theme, I'm all for it! I also really love to cook and garden! I'm all about homemade food and growing your own veggies!

  7. What do I like to do on my spare time? On my days off I love to be outdoors. My fiancé and I try and go on hikes, visit breweries/wineries, go to national parks and botanical gardens.

  8. How do I get to travel? After I caught the travel bug I knew I needed a career that would allow me to travel and get paid for it. I was too restless to wait for the next set of vacation days my job would allow and too broke to afford the lifestyle I wanted. So I became a flight attendant! A friend of mine was a flight attendant at the time and convinced me to try it out. I'm still currently doing that as my main source of income and that has allowed me to have the flexibility that I need!

  9. Where am I based? I'm currently based out of LAX! So, even though I live in Sacramento, I am available for any destination!

  10. What's the most important thing to me? My family. I grew up with a very traditional hispanic and east coast culture. I lived with my grandparents, cousins, aunts/uncles and siblings all in one big house. The holidays are always loud and fun!

  11. What's my favorite US city? 100% without a doubt New Orleans. It gives you a sense of being in europe without having to go to europe. You get food, music and beautiful architecture. You can walk in the street with a drink in your hand!

  12. What's my favorite travel destination? Europe! haha. Mostly France, Germany and Italy. All for the food, architecture and people!

  13. What's my favorite food? Pasta, pasta and pasta! Seriously, all day everyday!

  14. What do I love most in the world? Besides my fiance, my furpup Bruce! I try and bring him everywhere with me. So if you also have a furbaby, hit me up for a doggy play date!

  15. What's the scariest thing I've ever done? Move across the country. As I mentioned before, I come from a tight knit family. I didn't move out of my parents house until I was 27! Even then I was still in the same county as them. Becoming a flight attendant really prepped me for independence. I missed birthdays, holidays, mothers/fathers days, other important events and that helped me appreciate the regular days. Getting away from everything you know helps you get to yourself better than you can possibly know!

I hope these questions helped you have a better understanding of who I am and the type of person I am! Thank you for making it all the way through to the end! I hope to keep you guys updated on current events! My website is centrally focused on my photography but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy some behind the scenes tidbits!

Love,

Stephanie xx
